What cookies and similar technologies do
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. A site can also use local storage, tracking pixels and scripts to recognise a device or record activity. Session cookies usually expire when a browsing session ends; persistent cookies remain until their expiry or deletion.
Some technologies support requested functions or security. Others measure usage, display third-party content or support advertising. Their purpose and actual behaviour matter more than the label used by a plugin.

Instagram and embedded content
A feed plugin may serve cached content, fetch media from another service or load third-party scripts. The resulting data requests and storage depend on its configuration. It would be inaccurate to assume that every Instagram feed is cookie-free or that all feeds behave identically.
Where an embed connects your browser to a third party, that provider can receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Additional processing depends on the service and your relationship with it. A normal link to Instagram opens that service under its own privacy practices.

Managing your choices

Where prior consent is required, the relevant technologies must remain inactive until a valid choice is made. A preference must control the actual scripts or storage; showing a banner alone is not enough. Optional consent must be separate from agreeing to website terms.
If a consent-based feature is declined, that feature may not load. Withdrawal should be available through the implemented preference controls. Any available exemption or opt-out arrangement needs to match the applicable law and the specific use.
You can also use your browser settings to review, delete or block stored cookies. Removing cookies may erase saved preferences, and browser settings do not necessarily prevent every form of tracking. Use both the site’s verified controls and your browser settings as appropriate.
The Inside Embryo contact form
The supplied Inside Embryo Contact plugin does not itself set browser cookies or use local storage. It uses a server-generated security token and a temporary server-side counter keyed to a salted hash of the connection’s IP address to limit repeated submissions. The counter has a one-hour expiry; expired records may remain in server storage until normal cleanup.
The form sends the information you enter through WordPress’s mail service. This is separate from browser cookies. Hosting, other plugins and external services may have their own logging or storage practices. See our Privacy Policy. Verify this description if the form plugin or its implementation changes.
Updates and questions
The inventory should be checked when plugins, embeds, analytics or advertising tools change. Update this page when the underlying use changes, not just its date.
